My brother Tim just completed renovating his property at 2500 Taylor Ave. Wow. What a remarkable transformation. He did an amazing job! His focus was the kitchen. It was super small before. Only about a 8 x 8 area. Now it looks huge! He opened up a wall between the kitchen and dining area creating a much more functional and modern design.
The kitchen received new Hickory cabinetry, plumbing and light fixtures, counter tops, appliances flooring and of course paint. He choose a nice light color that really brightens up the home.
I had to convince him to keep the original dining light fixture. Im glad he listened! The light is perfect in keeping with the period of the home. He kept some other great details as well. Take a look at the refinished hard wood floors. Stan Browning of Browning floors once again did an amazing job.
The bathroom received a make over as well. Tim incorporated the existing window in the tub area by waterproofing it and privatizing the view with a little yankee know how. A custom built pedestal for the original wall mounted sink looks great.
This home has a lot to offer. If you like entertaining, this place would be great. A large back deck off the kitchen has plenty of space for a grill and a gathering of friends and family. The side sun porch is a perfect place to relax in the evenings and enjoy a beverage or two.
